5i OF iHJS iftlttEJON Wednesday inclining last 28th ult. between the hours of 9 and 10 o'clock, wan stolen cut of the desk in the subscribers’ stoie, a Spelling Book, iti which WA3 four Treasury Noies of 100 dollars each, daied the 11 Ui of September, 1815 end mide payable to, and endorsed by James Reddey, sign cd by-— md Edward Fox, and countersiged Thomas T% Tucker ^100 dollar note on the bank of Cape Fear, N C dated 1806, date renewed by a pen and end rsed, by whom not recollected-—one 20 dollar w-Y rk bill which has been end rsed by 4 or 5 d ff.r-ent poisons; 200 dollars in Savannah 10 and 20 dollar notes; besides a number of notes on different banks not recollected, amounting to about 200 dollars, making a sum of 920 dollars ; one promissory note given by Coone; Sc Riley payable to the subscribers for g 539 45 1*2 cents, dated 21st February 1816 at io days; also, one given by J. B. E. Elkin l(»r S 51 87 1-2 and made payable as above* dated 22d leh, 1816, at 30 day9 ; two cotton receip s given by T. E.
