Mrs. J. R. Pitts, den mother of Cub Scout Pack 431 of Beckville, and Mrs. Tommy Malta, assistant den mother, took their Cub Scouts to Marshall Saturday where they visited the Borden Company plant. They were shown through the entire plant. They saw how the milk from the dairies went through the different processes, how the milk was pasterized and homogen ized, the making and waxing of the cartons, the filling of the cartons. The plant served cold orange juice and gave each boy a souven ger. Following the visit through the plant, the boys had lunch in town. Making the trip were Jimmy Pitts, Bill Hutto, Tommy Coleman, Melton Blakley, Mrs. Hutto and Mrs. Pitts.
