Two Kenoshans have been granted patents for new ideas, the U. S. Patent office reports. Edward E. Woller, 5706 8th Ave., has patented a retractable panel for sofa berths. Applied for Sept. 24, 1948, the patient has been assigned to Simmons com pany. It is different in seven re spects from anything ever pat ented. Cyril Pontillo, 4829 23rd Ave., has been granted a patent for a container piercing apparatus.
