Pleasing Program Rendered tinLast Night—“Billy” SMunn Entertains. sta__ !terMEN SERVED DINNERThe reception given by the LifeStudy Club in the Y. M. C. A. lastnight was a most fitting culminationto the exceptionally successful season that the club has enjoyed. The wives who have faithfully served the suppers during the entire season were the honor guests. The reception hall on the first floor was filled to overflowing when the guests had arrived, 200 in all, after which they were escorted to the second floor where a special program was given.The program was in charge of the ; well known Billy Munn of Garland who was introduced by Mr. Keyes. Mr. Munn was assisted in th6 entertainment by his two sons, his wife, Master Elzor and two pianists. The j program opened with the two Munn boys and Master Elzor representing the army and navy in a patriotic song to which they were forced to respond to several encores. Mrs. Munn gave several readings which incl Vd, i “The Cataract of Ladore,” and “The : Y. M. C. A. Man Who Dared” which were thoroughly enjoyed.Billy Munn, himself, garbed as a colored man, was the next on the program with his comic songs and imitations, making a decided hit with his song, “Some Little Bug.” Mr. Munn, a talented violinist, gave several imitations such as the Scot- j l tish bag pipes, the Old Wooden Pump and the Village Fiddler and j when he gave the last imitation of : the fiddler, many were taken back to I! tl a good old days when the square | dances were the main social events.1 Mr. Munn then gave an imitation of [ ; several birds.
