The case of the child, Gleuira Mo Adow, was up in the county court yesterday afternoon and after a jury trial, the child was turned over to her mother, Mrs. A. II. McAdow, who has promised to look after her more closely in future. The little one has been a conspicuous object on the streets and in public plan s during the last couple of years and a large number of people who have the welfare of the little girl at heart, thought she would be better off in one of the state institutions; hence the court proceedings; but the mother ap peared and in addition to making a strong plea for the retention of the child, showed the court and jury that it was almost impossibly to keep her off the streets.#
