Mrs. Hypolite Martinet, aged yean* died !«*l Saturday and her mortal remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery Sunday evening. A large concourse of friends attended the funeral. Tills venerable old lady was endowed with a beneficent spirit—thoroughly cha- Jritahle, deeply religious, and was a kind mother, and good friend. She leaves a j r ; large family to deplore her demise. She - i was the mother of L. A. Martinet, the j f editor of the Louisiana Standard. Peace to her ashes.
