Fatal Kailway accident.—On Satur* day la*t a number of prominent gentlemen from Toronto and neighborhood inspected the second ton miles of the Credit \ alloy Railway completed, and were waiting in a car at the junction with tho (i. T. 11. near Carleton, when an ongino backing up to Carle ton, was switched on to the Credit Valley and ran into tho oar with greatforce, knocking it off tho trade, seriouslyinjuring several of those in tin* car. Mr. James (iooderhnm died on Sunday morning from the injuries received. .\n iuquc*t is being held.
