Bike Safety Roden Winners AnnouncedThe Bicycle Safety Rodeo was a tremendous success, according to Wallace Beck of the Travelers Protective Association, Post M. Beck served as chairman of the annual safety rodeo.Seventeen boys and girls were declared winners after the competition which was held Saturday on the parking lot of St. Mark’s Lutheran ChurchGirl’s division winners in grades one and two were Page Pickens, first; Sonja Webb, second In grades three and four, Lori Frels, first; Sandy Wagner, second and Donna Gilbreth, thirdIn grades five and six. Dee Dixon won first; Deeann Ai-brecht. second and Kay Calk, thirdIn the Boy’s division winners were: grades one and two,Craig Calk, first; Michael San ders, second and Kevin Leek, third.Grades three and four, Kyle Dietze, first; Warren Scott, second and Van Boone, thirdGrades five and six, Darrvl Leist, first, Walter Hoehne, second and Glen Balcar, third.TPA officials were assisted throughout the afternoon by the VFW Post 3972 members who(See Bike, Page 3)
