Honor Joe Steppler At Coram MeetingCORAM — A feature of this spring’s annual ranger meeting at Coram ranger station Thursday was presentation of a gift to Joe Steppler, Kalispell, who retired from the forest service effective April 30.Steppler was warehouse foreman, and started working for the forest service in 1916. He was assigned to the Blackfeet forest, since absorbed by the Flathead.He is an Indiana college graduate and majored in mineralogy.Steppler’s successor at the warehouse in an acting capacity is Charles Rickard.Supv. F. J. Neitzling commented
