Voloy Auger and Rulon Owen received diplomas.Gus E. Brawer on route to Kilgore. Idaho, from California visited In this community with relatives Tuesday and Wednesday.Mr and Mrs. Duane Workman of Preston spent Sunday afternoon visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Vera Nelson.Mr. and Mrs. Denton M. Webster and Mr. and Mrs. Percey \v Lar sen spent the week-end in Salt Lake City. Utah, visiting with relatives.Koual and Jackie Wheeler spent ihe week-end in Preston with their cousins Jay and Gordon Seamons.Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wheeler spent Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah.Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Auger and family of Tremonton. Utah, spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William H. Augur and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Owen.Fay Wheeler, the high school bus driver for the past winter, favored jhe students with a trip to Downata Wednesday evening, where they enjoyed swimming.Mr and Mrs. LaFrtyette Smith of Riverdale visited with Mr. and Mrs Lee Wheeler, Sunday.Mr. and Mrs. William H. Auger were delightfully surprised Sunday night with a telephone call from their son, Arnold Auger, who is in service in Washington.Alma Clausen of Preston was in this community Thursday evening.The trustees and the parents of the district held a meeting Friday evening. The purpose or the meeting was to discuss the advisability of sending the seventh grade students into Preston school. After 1 rjijfcussion it was decided by vote that they would remain here In school.Mr. and Mrs. Theron Webster and family of Pleasant Grove, spent Tuesday and Wednesday vls-j iting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Webster and family and other relatives.Miss Ethel Dean Laurilzen of Preston was a week-end guest of Miss Ruth Ann Larsen.
