Akron. May 14.—Burt Karnatz, Detroit, today held the winner's certificate for the 100-mile auto race held at the Cleveland-Akron speedway here Sunday afternoon. The first prize calls for $800 Wilbur Shaw, wealthy Indiana polis driver, finished second; Bruce Milley Detroit, third, Dutch Bauman, fourth and Roy Goodwin, fifth George Sauders, winner of the Indianapolis grind last year, set a dizzy pace in yesterday's race then dropped out at the elath lap. Karnatz drove a Fronty-Torch and averaged 6895 miles per hour for the event which he com pleted in 1:27:33
