Zion Reformed church was prettily decorated with white flowers yesterday in commemoration of Whitsun-tide. Rev. J. Spangler Kiefler preached two elegant sermons. His evening theme wan Presence of the Holy Spirit.'* At the morning service. Alice Heyser, daughter of Mr. and Mre. .lumen P. Harter, wan bap tired. C. E. Heard rendered a cornet solo very beautifully.The third anniversary of the Ep-worth league and the fifth anniversary of the general league wan cele brated at St. Paul s M. E. church yesterday evening. Beautiful flowers decorated the chancel ami spread their fragrance over the church. The exercises were commenced by the choir siuging a hymn; prayer by C. W. Seibold; scripture readiug, seere tary’s report, Miss ’ettie A. Baker; recitation, “Epworth,” Miss Ella Driver, recitation, Miss Bessie Slyer; address by the pastor, Rev. it. C. Bacon. E. H.
