Death of Mrs. Irish.Mrs. Lillie Irish, daughter ofNewton Cook, deceased, a pioneerresident of Grand Rapids, Mich.,and widow of Frank H. Irish, a ho-* •tel raan, formerly well known in that state, died in Los Angeles, Cal., several days ago. Mr. and Mrs. Irish, both of whom were practical and popular hotel operators, worked in unison for many years, in the management and control of various hotels, including the Livingston at Grand Rapids, the Cutler House of Grand Haven, the Forest Beach resort near Harbor Springs, and the Club House at Harbor Point. With the last named institution they were prominently identified for many years and Mr. Irish relinquished its management during the season of 1919, his death occurring shortly thereafter at Grand Rapids.
