Watertown Hospital Opened to the PublicThe Watertown Hospital, formerly under the direction of Dr. R. F. Campbell and others but which has been closed for some months past, has been formally reopened under super-intendency of Mrs. Lillian Lockwood, assisted by Miss Weltha Anderson.Mrs. Lockwood is a graduate of Maternity Hospital, Minneapolis, and Miss Anderson is a graduate of the hospital at Zanesville, Ohio.This hospital Is situated In one of the most pleasant spots in the city. Surrounded by flowers and shade trees, with a lawn of grass, it is particularly agreeable to convalescents.This institution, under Its new management, will be opened to all reputable physicians and surgeons of Watertown and vicinity. There are wards for the accommodation of some dozen to fifteen patients, and several private rooms for guests preferring to be alone.While it was not opened until the first of this week, there are already several psfcients In it, and yesterday two operations were performed by local surgeons.The rates are very reasonable—the weekly charge for use of the wards, including nurse attendance; is $12, and for private rooms from $20 up.Mrs. Lockwood and Miss Anderson are giving the management their personal attention. Both have been in the city for some months past, Mrs. Lockwood for upwards of two years, and they are very highly spoken of by the public and the physicians with whom they have come in contact
