Above, WCAG President Lynn Kessell and Brigid Cooley, NEST Empow erment Center coordinator, announce the art contest winners May 3. Winners received gift cards to purchase future art supplies. Left, Student artists Caitlyn Smith, Oliver V. Wheeler and Leviathan Carrara - who represent The Georgetown Project NEST Empowerment Center, which is an after-school program available to students from both Georgetown high schools - stand in front of Armageddon Arc, which was a collaborative piece that included a painting of an erupting volcano with a collage of sticker and cut-out animals pasted on top. The piece is one of dozens on display at the Williamson County Art Guild space at 708 Rock Street until June 3.
