Wins Iowa Press Award*The Ottumwa Courier of Ottumwa, Iowa was awarded first place for editorial excellence among Iowa daily newspapers recently by the Iowa Press Association. The newspaper’s editor is Jim Crane, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Crane of Cho-teau.The newspaper and several of its personnel received several awards during the Iowa Press Association convention.Crane attended Choteau schools, graduated from the University of Montana at Missoula and worked for the Mis-soulian for a number of years before moving to Iowa.
