Maria R. Trevino, daughter of Loreto G. Trevino of 222 W Wright St., Pharr, received the Crisco Award for her out standing work in home economics at Pharr-San Juan- Alamo High School's annual Award Day, May 7. The silver award was presented to Miss Trevino, a’ s senior at PSJA High School, by Mrs. Gracie Champion, homemaking teacher. In presenting the Crisco Award, Mrs. Champion congratulated Maria on the excellence she has shown in her work. Maria plans to continue her studies in home economics at Texas A I University
