Sharkey and daughter, Katharine, are visiting relatives in Eaton. Mrs. Harry Powell, who has been ill for the past three months, is slowly improving. Mrs. J. L. Shook, of Convoy, was a guest yesterday, of her sister, Mrs. I. B. Pruden. Mrs. Charles Spicer, of Scott, and Will Spicer, of Ft. Wayne, were in the city, to-day. J. B. Brodnix, of Paulding, was in town to attend the funeral of the late Eli Kimmel.’ Mrs. Franklin Chryst and children will leave, ‘next Wednesday, for their new home at Katy, Texans. Mrs. O. W. Priddy and son, Rich ard, have gone to Ada to visit her mother, Mrs. Will M. Smith. Mrs. Jasper Good, of Woodland avenue, is critically 11]. Little hope is entertained for her recovery. Mrs. Walter Black and daughter, Margaret, have returned home from a visit with relatives in Ft. Wayne. Mrs. D. Moyer, of Newton, Iowa, and Mrs. Wm. Frye, of Latty, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Wilson, of North Walnut street. UD. . Hester, who was at home from Washington for a brief visit, has gone to Toledo to attend the annual meeting of the Great Council of Ohio, I. O. R. M. Miss Mae Strack, of this city, has again been invited by the school board of Wiltshire to teach school in that town. It will be her fifth year in the Wiltshire schools. Rev. D. Evane Jones, of Venedo cia, Adam Hirn, of Spencerville, and W. W. Williams, of this county,will leave, next Tuesday, for Denver to at tend the National Presbytery. Miss Eala Armstrong will leave, to morrow, for a visit with friends in Kenton and to attend the annual con test of the Northwestern Ohio Ora torical Association, Friday evening. ‘Albert NecNutt and Miss Madge Skelley have gone to Delphos to serve as attendanta in the marriage of Charles Beck and Miss Tio Miller, at the Catho lic church in that town, the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene C. Humphreys have gone to Ann Arbor, Mich., to visit his brother, Prof. Wilbur R. Humphreys and wife, and to attend the May Festival being given in that city. A number of the musical world’s most prominent singers are taking part in the event.
