NowMAN WOODBURY THOMAS. December 15, 1901 - April 22, 1998 Eldest son of the late Maryann and Henry George ‘Thomas, was called home to glory on Wednesday, April 22, 1998 at the Betel Care Home with his family at his side. Beloved father of Eileen Kumka, Ralph (Lora) Thomas, Myrna, oe) Haley, Carol (Edward) Struch, and daughter, Ruth Thomas. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes in 1982; his second wife Ruby in 1996. His son Glen in 1994 and his infant great-grand daughter Kimberley. His brothers, Herald, Reuben, Gerald, and ss ters, Emily, Mildred, Dorothy and Florence. Besides his children, he is survived by his brothers, Gordon, John, and sisters, Phyllis, Mabel and Gladys; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was born in Balsam Bay where he received his primary educa tion. In 1926 he married Agnes Lundberg and they lived at Patricia Beach (Stony Point) til the early 40's when he moved his family Selkirk where he became employed with Purvis Boats. He was an active member of the Selkirk Gospel Chapel for many years. Services were held at the Gilbert Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27 and at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.
