This is the architect’s drawing of the new Milford High School now under con struction on a 28-acre site on Pleasant Hill Road. The school, which will cost $1,105,000 including equipment, is scheduled to be ready for classes in the fall of 1962. The high school will accommodate 545 pupils as now being built, but it is design ed to provide full facilities for 1200 pupils with an additional wing. It will include 20 class rooms, science laboratory, home ec onomics and industrial arts facilities, com bination gym and auditorium, kitchen, li brary, and combination study hall and lunchroom. The district’s new elementary school on Cromley Drive also is progressing. It will accommodate 600 pupils. The entire building program will cost $1,767,000, with the cost to the people of the district being approximately $1 million and the State providing the rest of the money.
