Their Daughter and Son Were Planning to Celebrate Sunday At Country Estateleexrtb;nieMacon, Mo., May 9—Mrs. Theodore Gary, wife of the chairman of the board of Theodore Gary Co., of Kansas City, died unexpectedly at 9:10 a. m., Saturday at OkhiU, the Garys' n country estate near here. xt; Death was attributed to an obstruction in the blood stream. Mrs. Gary, v who was 74 years old, was stricken I without warning. She died before med-ieal aid could reach her. j. Gary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary, was reported en route here from the West, having planned to join in the family reunion on Mother’s Day.Mr. and Mrs. Loomis, accompanied j by their son Theodore Gary Loomis, [j. I came here Friday night from Kansas re | City and were joined by another son, Wesley Loomis III, who came here from Chicago.Mr. Gary said his wife was stricken just after he had brought the mom-00 j mg paper to her room, as was his001 regular custom,00; Mr. and Mrs. Gary were married in00 Macon on November 1, 1882. She was001 the former Miss Helen Fairbanks Lax-00! rabee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fair-00 ; banks Larrabee of Macon.Mr. and Mrs. Gary during the winter had lived in their home at the Walnuts, in Kansas City. They left there only a few days ago and motored to their country estate here.Mrs. Gary was born in Macon January 11, 1862, the daughter of Fair-50 | banks Larrabee and Mary J. Ross €7 Larrabee. Fairbanks Larrabee was a 67 descedant of the Fairbanks family of 67 Dedham, Mass., where the ancestral 67 home is still maintained. Helen Lar-00 | rabee was probably the first white girl 00 i born in Macon. She attended St. 00 James Academy. Mrs. Gary was the 00 last of her family since her only 00 brother, Ross Larrabee, died June 17, 00 1917.00 Macon was always home to Mrs. 00 Gary, and she was always happiest 00 when she was there among her life-00 long friends and in her flower garden. 33 She loved flowers and her suc“c:s with 33 ; them was renowned.33; Mrs. Gary was a member of the Ane 33 Helm chapter of the Daughters of the 33 j American Revolution and of the Pro-33 testant Episcopal church.33 j Two other surviving grandchildren 33 are Mrs. Mary Gary Oarkener and 33 Theodore Sauvinet Gary, daughter and 33 son of Hunter L. Gary.
