MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION.Mother’s Day was celebrated at the home of Mrs. Seth Bumgarner, : New Haven, Sunday, May 8th, 1910, by her six sons and her only daughter, Mrs. William Powell. Each of those children having taken with them everything that was good to cat and at 10 A. M. those seven children with their children were at the home of their mother. The venerable old lady did not appear much surprised, as her children frequently go together and spend a day with their mother. The 8th was Mother’s Day, and the 9 th was mother’s 72nd birthday. Therefore, mother was remembered in two ways. In my opinion the friendship of this mother and her children are perfect. Whilst conversing with Mrs. Bumgarner, I found her business part of life was directed by the Golden Rule. Mrs.Bumgarner's degree of contentment proves to all that she lives with God in her life.
