next meeting.At this point Assistant Postmaster MoCracken was granted the floor and explained to the council the necessity of passing an ordinance providing a system of street numbering, if Pocatello expected to receive the benefits of the free mail delivery to which it was entitled under the business done by the postoftice during the year endingMarch 31st.On motion of Councilman Oleare it was ordered that the ordinance committee, in conjunction with the highway committee, draft an ordinance providing for the numbering of the buildings in the city and recommend it j such changes of street names as may he thought most convenient.
