The defendant was on the witness stand constantly from Saturday noon until after noonto-day.The divorce case of Mrs. Cresence Maichel vs. Joseph Maichel, her husband, was filed Saturday evening.The divorce is asked for 011 the grounds of habitual drunkenness for the past 15 years. The defendant is #well to do farmer living in the west part of the county near the Osage county line. There* is considerable, property involved. Among other things asked for by the plaintiff is enough money to educate her two children The city of Eudora has asked for a perpetual injunction restraining Peter i A. Hartig from plowing up or ob-| struciing certain streets in Eudora.!
