New Cases Filed—-The Twelve AdditionalJurymen.The case of Chevalier vs. Paveywas not finished to-day. The defendant was on the witness stand constantly from Saturday noon until after noonto-day.The divorce case of Mrs. Cresence Maichel vs. Joseph Maichel, her husband, was filed Saturday evening.The divorce is asked for 011 the grounds of habitual drunkenness for the past 15 years. The defendant is #well to do farmer living in the west part of the county near the Osage county line. There* is considerable, property involved. Among other things asked for by the plaintiff is enough money to educate her two children The city of Eudora has asked for a perpetual injunction restraining Peter i A. Hartig from plowing up or ob-| struciing certain streets in Eudora.! This is brought about by an ; injunction asked for several ’ clays ago by Hartig, restraining the ; eiy of Eu.lor.i from using his prop-j erty as an approach to the proposed i Kansas river bridge.!
