Indian Affairs.—There are no freshreports from the Gallatin of importance. Mr. Cochran. a trader. Just arrived from the Yellow-ftooe beyond the scene of Bozeuum's munler. re ports that the Indians who killed the latter stopped with him the night before, H** thinks there were more than five in the party, as one of his bones was stolen w hi.e they were at the cabin. They had a fight with Richards' party, capturing their stock, but the animals were recaptured and the Indians driven off. They pretended to be Crows, but talked (‘row badly.and looked differently from them. A large camp of Arrapboee are reported on Arrow Creek. He met Richard* and companions m route for Fort Smith. Richards did not feel pleased at the announcement of the Arraphoes cnmp on Arrow Creek, and if they are molested will probably return. T he recruiting movement is favorable in Virginia. The Quartermaster has some 210 good horses purehe !. has some 30 saddles and bridles, and will L...«d hr.udred in the course of t* ree lt;*r four days. Only about 31) guns are on hand. In this respect *bo greatest deficiency exists- Boine 73 meu are enrolled ready to leave as aoou as they can be equipped. The receipt of the telegrams from Washington lias placed the movement on a better basis, and there is now no difficulty in obtaining all the necessary supplies *,D Government vouchers.
