Splendid ram*.Thcro aro now being finished in our town, two Flooring Wills of the largest class. One is owned by Mr. A. B. Con* well §0X3, and is five stories high, calculated for eight run of atones. This mill will cost, when finished, upward* of $15,000. It is to be supplied with water from the river, and will be ready for grind* ing in about six weeks. The other mill is being put up by Messrs. Wetiibrald Higues. It is four stories high, and will contain four run of stone. This mill gets its power from the Canal. VVe do not know what the cost of this mill will be, but presume it will approach $10,000.In addition to the above, there is one large mill now in operation in this place, owned by Messrs. Moore Lawrence. Bo thcro is a probability of having mills enough to grind all the grain raised in this vicinity, and we expect the prices for wheat, c., will be as high here as at any point in the Valley.
