Grandmother Weeps at Trial of Lewiston and WEAVERVILLE — Darcy Moss, 15- year-old Lewiston honor student, leaves the courtroom Monday still in handcuffs after being convicted of two Feb. 22 slayings. He was adjudged guilty of both first and second-degree murder, respectively in the deaths of his father and mother, in a non-jury trial by Superior Judge Harold Un derwood. The boy's grandmother, Mrs. Virgil Penfold, stands by weeping as he leaves for confinement by the Department of Corrections. District Attorney Donald Kennedy said he thought the boy would be paroled in about seven years after rehabilitation. (UPI Telephoto)
