MR. J. PAYNE IS NEW ROTARY ClXB PRESIDENTMr. J. Payne was* last night elected president of Singleton Rotary Club. iHe, together with other officers elected, will take over duties in October next. Mr. H. Pepper was reelected treasurer, and Mr. T, F. Cragg will continue to act as honorary secretary. There were a number of nominees for appointment to the Board of Directors, the four successful aspirants being Messrs. C. R. Whitfield, D. A. Ryan. G. Madgwick and E. W. Robinson. Quest speaker last night was Mr. V. R. Watt, an artist, who spoke on the anecdotes of art. His subject proved particularly Interesting.SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED PASSING OF MRS. ERIC RAII.F.V
