U. A. Student and Former Little Rock High Star Will Work Under Stubblefield Clifford Shaw, of Little Rock, who receives his degree at the University of Arkansas this spring will be director of athletics and head football, basketball and track each at Harrison high school next school year, it was announced here today by Garland #® tubblefield, principal of Harrison high school. Shaw is considered one of the leading officials of Arkansas and is a former Little Rock high school three letter star. After gradua tion he played professional base ball during the summers in order to defray his expenses through school and has seen action in the Southern association and Cotton States league. A major operation last spring kept him out of pro fessional baseball and big Spring he has helped in the organization of the Arkansas State league and is president of the Fayetteville entry.
