MILITARY DRAFT REGISTRATION.| Ail outline of the plan to secure , registration of those subject to | military draft has been sent to the governors of the states, i Gov. Harris has decided upon (the method to be followed in Georgia.! As soon as the bill has been enacted President Wilson will issue ;his proclamation, and this will be placed in the hands of the sheriff, ' chief of the county board. '| There will be a registrar in each militia district, before whom on a * specified day, five days after the 1 presidents proclamatioryill persons • subject to military duty will be 1 required to appear and register, / | each on a card to be furnished at.j the precinct, I *fc1 The cards are to be placed in the (. hands of the Sheriff, and within 1 .fifteen days the draft will be made ] I and forwarded to the state super- j1 in tendon t appointed by Gov. Harris. ]I As soon as this is done the draft- ! c l men will be ordered to assemble ' at the camp designated. j| It is expected that residents of | the voting precincts will volunteer J ! to act as registrars without com- 1 pen sal ion.Persons within the age limits, say 19 to 25 inclusive,who for any cause are unable to go to the pro- 1 | cinet on the designated day, will • be required to make out and mail | his registration card so as to reach the sh or i IT, o r c i ty e 1 erk.
