Um. Downing is quite ill. John Mesverger, of St. Magdal ne, was here last week. Fielding Rickman has exchanged his yoke of oxen for one of those lung eared quadrupeds. Otto Kinnett, of Nexville, is working for Semon Bros. Mat Adams, of Marble Corner, was here one day last week. F. T. Lemon spent last week at Canaan. Rev. Michall and Peter Kenneus, of St. Magdalene, passed through town one day last week on their way to North Vernon. The show at Bethel on the Gist inst., was a grand star.
