OMAHA, Neb.-An official at Offutt AFB, Neb., has announced the promotion of Joseph F. Karlage to major in the U.S. Air Force.Major Karlage, son of Mrs. Josephine Karlage of 92 Lucy Run Road, Amelia, Ohio, is a missile operations staff officer with a unit of the Strategic Air Command.A 1962 graduate of Amelia High School, the major received his B.A. degree in 1966 from the University of North Dakota and was commissioned through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program. He received his M.S. degree in systems management in 1975 from the University of Southern California,Major Karlage’s wife, Margaretta. is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Green of 1220 Max-millian Way, Tucson, Ariz. K - 10.
