Four bill peddlers for a Ham mond department store were ar ested yesterday afternoon by ‘Twin City police for allegedly violating the city handbill ordinance. , Booked were: Andrew Hello, 37, of 44% Sibley street, Hammond; Ergin Wadstein, 18, of 46 Carroll street, Hammond; :James Felch, 39, of 13434 Avenue H, Chicago, and Robert Berlehr, 18, of 16 Harding avenue, Calumet City. The peddlers were arrested by Sergeant James L. Stull while dis tributing circulars to residents in East Chicago's north side. The city handbill ordinance per mits peddlers to pass out handbills but provides that circulars must be accepted by householders. They cannot be thrown on porches or placed between doors.
