SCHOOL NOTESThe ides V appoii tion, itsay a te3t$Thevise nrrid-i and iof fe are j- Seventh GyadeThe seventh grade, believing that we did not get enough to eat at home decided to try cooking our own breakfast.Due the laziness of certain individuals we did not get started until seven o'clock, but we knew that two hours would be long enough to burn the eggs and spoil the cocoa, so we started out.The first and main dificulty was a fire.As the girls knew nothing about such things, this job [and all other jobs] fell to the boys, Armed with nothing but a jack-knife, they made a yigerous attack on some stumps, and soon had a roaring fire, lacking nothing but theroar.« Then, to every-bobies dismay, Miss _ MeCarl proceeded to scramble eg§|tions and fill a kittle with some dark muddy j Cojjc fluid slightly resembling cocoa.During an absence of the teachers a slight argument started, and Elizabeth Schaaf, thinking the cocoa lacked flavoring* accidently put her foot in if.After disposing of- an teachers took their departure. Then followed a hot battle in which the girls came out second bestas usual. %Finall we cleaned up and went home,after argueing who should pull thewagon and the girls were again secondbest.i Junior Clatt1, Most of the Juniors went to the Senior play last Friday. Everyoneenjoyed it. .2V We had a test in Latin lastweek and another in Cooking Monday♦morning.3. We are beginning to dread thethoughts of the final exams.4. The members of the Junior class who are on the honor roll this month are Iva Reynolds, Martha Bringold,and Susan Beemer.5. We are fourth in the citizenshipcontest this month. We can see that there is no chance of our winning thecontest.6* The members of the Junior class who are going to Mt.
