Blufftoa, Ind., May S.—Lucy Terrell, whose father, John W. Terrell, is confined la the Easthaven asylum at Richmond, was in Blufftoa and reported that she visited her father at Richmond last week, and found him much better. He appeared to be almost perfectly rational at times and talked to her with what appeared to be perfect understanding. She has hopes that he will recover entirely. If such should be the case, he probably would be given over Into the custody of the sheriff of Wells county and would again be arraigned bere, charged with the murder of bis son-in-law, Melvin Wolfe, whom he shot on July 12, 1903, It i6 very doubtful, however. If he could again be convicted in the face of the evidence that would be Introduced as to his long period of insanity. Terrell has been in the asylum a little more than four years, having been taken there on May 5, 1904.1
