A noted cattle man of the Lone Star state, attempted, on Tuesday night, to bull doze the K. T. yard men in this city. He wore two revolvers and a dirk in sight, and because they switched the stock train, on which he was riding, around lively he stepped out of the war path and announc ed that he was “Texas Charlie,” and that he proposed to clean out the railroaders. A lad of the rail, seizing a club, informed him that his reputation had reached this city , that he was once knocked down with a cattle prod by a brakeman in this city, and that the treatment would be repeated at once unless he subsided.
