Our State Exchanges.The Savannah Advertiser makes a deservedI-attack upon the old negro midwives who practice in that city. Hardly a day passes but some miserable victim of their ignorance and ' carelessness dies in childbirth. There should be a law enacted forbidding all, eicept licensed physiciaus, attending to a woman in this critical period.
