The iron was runt-eatou till it was very thin. When Mr. I'iil'b father, Geo nor, I'iil, first cnmo to this county, some forty years ugo, an onk tree was elanding on thie muuud which boro marks of age and decny. It was three feet six inches in dhune-ter, ami in Alt j of the branches mid much of the bark had fallen off. The curious can calculate4»n the age of the tree, and from whence came the Iron.
