KENILWORTH-- Detective Joseph J. Rego is expected to become the police depart ment's first college graduate when he receives an associate degree in law enforcement from Union College, Cranford. Rego has completed all necessary credits after at tending night classes over six years. It was on his own time, although the federal govern ment provided tuition through its law enforcement educational program. The detective has been with the department since April 1, 1961. He was assigned to the bureau in January, 1974. He has also completed programs offered by the Bureau of Narcotic and Dangerous Drugs and the N.J. State Police Narcotics School. Rego is a member of the Union County Narcotic Strike Force. FIRST COMMUNION KENILWORTH-- Stephanie Ruta Selecky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Selecky will receive the sacraments of holy communion on Saturday at 9 a.m., at St. Theresa Church. The carnation sale, held just before Mother's Day, will help raise money to cover general annual...expenses .. and scholarships for the summer vocal music camp held in Princeton. Kenilworth on: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donkeyball game tonight KENILWORTH-- Teachers and students of David Brearley Regional High School will mount donkeys and face each other in a game of basketball. The event, scheduled to begin at 7:30 tonight in the high school gymnasium, is sponsored by the Brearley Teachers’ Association. All profits will be placed in the Scholarship Fund. Two preliminary games, each pitting students against faculty, will be played to determine which teams will make the championship bid. CUB SCOUT PICNIC KENILWORTH-- Cub Pack #2 will hold a family picnic May 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Nomahegen Park, Cranford.
