Reports of the secretary-’treasurer, Mary Zoller, and reports of special committees were given.An election to fill three seats on the board of directors was held with incumbents Mabei Bartenhagen and Marilyn Bekker re-elected to three-year terms. Mrs. Iva Blake was named to fill the remaining positon. She succeeds Ernst Pagel,The program, theme was “Muscatine, Then and Now,” was presented.The program was based on postcards of the early 1900’s shown with slides of the present day. Brief commen-tary was given on each subject by Mabel Bartenhagen, Max Churchill and Doug Randleman. Marilyn Bekker and John Witmer assisted withthe operation of the projection equipment. Don Bekker was commended for the slides provided, many of which exactly duplicated the photos of 60 years ago.Many old postcards and photos of Muscatine, taken between 1B90 and 1920 were on display. These included a photo of the Muscatine river front dated April 5, 1914, and an artist’s drawing of the 4th St. reservoir,This was the final program in•the current series of programs on the history of Muscatine,
