Music From “Oliver ”Presentation SoonLast year’s Music Man** band members and River City * residents have changed costumes and will appear next week as pocket-picking urchins roaming the streets of London in scenesfrom the musical Oliver/’ Doris Kraushaar’s sixth grade choir♦members were a smashing success in their 5th grade production of Music Man tunes, and this year’s show is sure to be just as entertaining.Directing the musical performance to be presented next Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Middle School Little Theatre, will be David Johnson (who directed the High School production of Anything Goes),. Musical director, is Mrs. Kraushaar. Accompaniment for the songs will be provided by Marilyn Short. Costumes, properties and scenery are being gathered and prepared by Virginia Murray and Mildred Peterson.*Sixth graders chosen for the musical are: Narrator, Greg Marsh; Oliver, Charles Peterson; widow Corney, Diane Cole; Artful Dodger, Chip Skinner and Fagin, Tim Cook. Other solo parts will be sung by: Joe Ferris Jr., Steve Lemm, Steve Sayer, John Newman, Todd Hoeft', Barbie Hoeft, Colleen Crossey, Robin Foersterling, Missy Leslie, Carol Neff, Sarah Fox, Kim Wellwood, Janna Smith, and Paige Zimmerman.
