Local SoldierGets Army DegreeMITRNAU, GERMANY—Sgt. Ja-cob E. Jacobsen, son of Mrs. Edith Jacobsen, 221 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, recently graduated from the U. S. Army Engineer School in Murnau, Germany.He received instruction in supervisory methods for combat construction projects as imple mented by the Army’s Corps of Engineers. Sgt. Jacobsen is a squad leader in the 317th Engineer Combat Battalion at Hoechst. Germany.For his service in Europe since November 1951, he holds the Army of Occupation Medal. Jacobsen entered the Army in October, , 1950.
