LOCAL WOMAN DIES IN HOLfiATE, OHIOMrs. Mary Laubenthal, Well Known Here Passes AwayMrs, Mara Laubenthal, 307 South Main-st., passed away Tuesday evening, April 28, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. F. Dietrick, Hol-gate, OJiio, wherevshe had been visiting since last November.Mrs. Laubenthal had been a resident qf Mt. Pleasant for the past eight years coming here from ^Ottawa township, where she h^d lived for 20 ears, being a member of the Altar society of St. Philomena's parish, Beal City. Prior to coining to Michigan, Mrs. Laubenthal had' lived inKE1A at i Satu Guei A. 3 ship, pew* The Tb Fost was mate color Th frien MayW(year*Ohio.In the year of 1867, she was united in the holy bonds of wedlock to Nicholas Laubenthal and to this union 10 children were born, all of whom attended the funeral.She is survived by her three sons, Joseph of Lansing, Frank of Cadillac, and Will of Beal City; seven daughters, Anna Schon and Mrs. M. F. Dietrick of Holgate, «Ohio, Mrs. Giesige and Mrs. Westrick of New Bavaria, Ohio; Mrs. Simmer of Lansing, Mrs. Mead of Shepherd and Mrs. Frank Lynch of this city, also fifty-five grand-children and seven great grand-children; one sister, Mrs. C. H. Fairman of Elyria, Ohio; two‘brothers, Jerome Cotton of St. Louis, and Curtic Cotton of Laporte, Ind.; besides a host of friends.Six grandsons were pall-bearers and eight grand-daughters carried flowers. On Thursday morning, the body was taken ’ to Sacred Heart church in New Bavaria, Ohio, where requiem high mass was sung and from there was brought to the home at 307 South Main-:st., this city.Sunday services were held Saturday morning*at Sacred Heart church | conducted by Rev. E*rs. Flannery and Norlock of this place and Fr. Zugel- J der of Beal City. The ^AAar'society, of which she was a member attended. in a body.
