Vicksburg, Miss. May 5:— The “regular Republicans” ‘state conven tion was held here today and on the instructed delegation was named to seek resenation, at the national n ay on the dominating figure of the conven tion, and will head the delegation, the other delegates being H. M. Da ley, white, Coldwater; Isaiah T. Montgomery, negro, Mound Bayou; and D. W. Sherred, negro, Meridian. Two white men and two negro alter nates were elected, E. E. Hindman; Jackson; A. M. Storer, Oxford, white; Johannes H. Tstags, Nutches and T. J. The Port Gibson Reveille says: “The remark has often been made that we have the best kept and p riest private cemetery they had ev seen.
