HOME COMING WAS LARGELY ATTENDEDThe Usual Big Dinner Was Served—$361.00 Raised for Mission Work.Sunday was a great day in the history of the Colfax Christian church, the occasion being the annual home coining and big dinner in celebration of the beautiful edifice which occured on the first Sunday in May, 1912. While the weather man done his best to frustrate the plans of the day with weepingskies, the member, from far and near were on hand despite the damp ness to commerate the day.The Sunday school hour was featured with special music by the Christian church orchestra and several special vocal numbers. The attendance was splendid and the collections ran well up in the dollars.At the morning devotional service, Rev. Cauble, corresponding secretary of the State Board of Missions presided and he gave a splendid talk on missions and the churches duty and relations to this work.
