—Miss Alice Smith returned yesterday fro a pleasant visit at Lockland, O. —Miss Myra Greene entertained as her guests the Misses Holmes, of Goshen. —Extee preparations are being made for the county Boxwall commencement. There will be about one hundred gradu ates this year. Prof. J.P. Sharkeys Su perintendent of the Schools at Eaton, C., will deliver the annual address, subject, “The Country Boy—A Sure Winner.” The May term of the Clermont County Common Pleas Court convened yesterday, with Judge Davis presiding. The follow ing compose the petit jury: Edward Jones, Perintown; J.Q. Bass, Mulberry; Jacob Wolf, Jr., Charles Stark, Joseph Daw son, Batavia; Samuel Lever, Joseph Go mien, Boston; M. W.Elliott, Frank Dull, Goshen; Thomas Kuser, William G. Fen wick, Washington; J. E. Innis, Williams burg; Albert R. Crane, Bethel; Guy R. Johnson, Mr. Carmel; A. W. Gillfillen, Washington; John» Hahn, Batavia.
