CIRCLE (AP) — Three relatives of a woman who disappeared into the countryside after a head-on collision near Circle on April 20 have come to Montana in hopes of finding some trace of her. Patricia Meehan, 37, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was driving northwest on Highway 200, about seven miles southwest of Circle, when her car crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Carol Heitz of Circle. The collision demolished both cars and hospitalized Heitz with minor injuries, but Meehan glanced at Heitz and walked away into the countryside, according to McCone County sheriff's officers. Intensive aerial and ground searches found no trace of her ‘That is the most unlikely thing I have ever heard her do, that she would walk away from an accident,’’ said Meehan’s sister, Arlene Josephs, in a telephone interview from Circle. ‘‘Everything we've heard was just so unlike her; that’s why we're even more worried than normal. Meehan had been living in Bozeman Josephs, of Marblehead, Mass., and her cousin Kathy Van Dusen recently drove to Bismarck, N.C., where they met Joseph's brother, Tim Meehan, who had flown to Bismarck from Orlando, Fla They distributed posters with color photographs of Pat Meehan to truck stops and law enforcement offices along the way to Circle. ‘We've handed out 40 (posters) so far, and we're having 200 more printed,’ said Josephs. The trio flew over the original search area Friday, but Josephs doubts she is still in that area. ‘We don’t know if she’s hit her head and is an amnesiac, or physically hurt,’’ said Josephs. ‘‘Maybe she did take off and get a ride in a truck. Meehan had been looking for a job working for a ranch and had cut out some newspaper advertisements, Josephs said, but calls to those ranches turned up no leads. In Bozeman, Meehan worked for her landlord fixing up apartments. Meehan had called her father the day before the accident, Josephs said. ‘She said she felt like she was under a lot of stress and wanted to come back home (to Pittsburgh) for a while. He said ‘fine,’ and she said she'd call the next as Meehan didn’t kind of stress she was “inder, Joseph said, Josephs, Tim Meehan and Van Dusen plan to backtrack Meehan’s route and drive through Lewistown to Bozeman
