oy Oliva uses Weekend visitors at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. ‘lfford Adams, is brother Bob Adams and family from Shilo, Manitoba. ‘A ‘double wedding was celebrated in St. Ambroise church on Saturday, April 26 were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rod Strang (Marcella Klyne) celebrated by Father de Rocquiigny, and Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Precourt (Norma Lavallee) celbrated by Father Roland Lavoie from St. Eustache, Manitoba, reception was given at his ‘grandfather’s residence for larry and Marcella Strang and in the St. Ambroise hall ‘of Leopold and Norma Precourt, many relatives and friends were present, Friday morning by car, to go back home in Spencer, linois. ‘Mrs. Linda O'Donnell and 2rry came an a stage a wun for parents for a few days while her husband is working in Yorkton, Sask. Visitors on the weekend at Mr. and Mrs. James Lavallee were Mr. and Mrs. David Lavallee and son, Mr. and Mrs. Georges Lavallee from Foxwarren, Manitoba, Miss Verna Lavallee, Mr. Charlie St. Laurent, Mr. and Mrs. Emile Allard and children, Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Ricard from Winnipeg came Saturday for the Precourt wedding, and pay a visit to his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allard ‘came on the weekend to visit her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ricard and also some relatives and friends. ‘We note with sadness the passing during the past week of Philip Ducharme a former resident of St. Ambroise ‘Anybody who has news please phone Miss Gauthier, 243.2473 your correspondent for St. Ambroise.
