Clear warm weather favored members of the McComb Lions Club when they began one of their civic improvement projects, paint ing the fence at the McComb Union Cemetery. Spokesman of the club stated they wanted the project completed before Me morial Day. Robert Boyles, left, and Glenn Tussing were hard at work when this picture was taken. Members of the local American Legion Post also joined in readying the grounds for Memorial Day with the painting of the cemetery cannon, under the direction of David Culp and John Cramer. Dale Ingold donated paint and the Hancock-Wood Electric Co-Op furnished auxiliary power for this project.’
