THE PARIS MORNING NEW SUNDAY, MAY 7, 1922.LIONS CELEBRATED ANNIVERSARY OF PARIS CLUBThursday marked the first anniversary of the Paris Lion, and in celebration of the event the members, their families and friends were entertained Thursday evening at the Gibraltar hotel.The, attedance on the meeting was more than 100, and the affair was one of the moat thoroughly enjoyable events the Lions have had in their 52 weeks of existence.The program committee for the week, Messrs. James, Anderson and ■Wheat, made a canvass of the talent of the city and environs to secure talent, and they succeedd admirably.Misses Fox, Griffith, Morgan and Hon. Newman Phillips formed a program of entertainers that, could not have possibly been ex- -’.led. and that they were secured is a tribute to the genius of the af-a- aid com mittee.The Gibraltar management, anticipating the wants of the I.ions and their guests, provided a most substantial and very much enjoyed meal, with prettily decorated tables and an unequaled service as their Contribution to the success of the event.President J.
